It’s not enough for other NFL teams to steal the New Orleans Saints’ group celebration photo-ops after turnovers and touchdowns. Now they’re robbing New Orleans of its choreography.
The Kansas City Chiefs put a big target on their backs by rolling out the “Bike Life” dance made popular by Saints backup quarterback Teddy Bridgewater during postgame locker room parties, usually set to New Orleans-area hip hop classic “Choppa Style.” Look at this blatant theft and cringe along with us:
It’s one thing to pay tribute to someone else – that’s what Saints star wideout Michael Thomas did by celebrating a touchdown with a phone call, as Joe Horn once did for the black and gold – but it’s something else to take somebody’s signature move and rebrand it as your own.
