New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton met with the media following the second week of organized team activities, offering updates on a few players. One of those situations concerns right guard Larry Warford, who has made the Pro Bowl in both of his first two years with the Saints.
Per Josh Katzenstein of the Times-Picayune, Warford has been held out of OTA’s while managing an unspecified injury. He was listed on the injury report throughout the 2018 season with a knee condition, and also sustained a back injury late in the year. He powered through it into the playoffs, but right now the Saints are doing the smart thing and resting him while rookies and new additions pick up the offense.
