Although his preference was to re-sign with the Seattle Seahawks Chris Tomasson of TwinCities.com reports Kevin Williams wants to play at least one more year and have another shot at a SuperBowl. Williams (a six-time Pro Bowler) played with the Minnesota Vikings for ten years before joining the Seahawks last year on a one-year deal as nose tackle replacing Brandon Mebane. He will rejoin Vikings team mate and Saints wide receiver assistant coach, Greg Lewis, as a member of the New Orleans Saints organization.
“I want to go back to Seattle, but this is a business,’’ Williams, 34, said Thursday in a phone interview with the Pioneer Press.
