Panthers' #1 receiver sophomore Kelvin Benjamin went down Wednesday with a knee injury while making a cut. Early signs point to an ACL, which could shelf Benjamin for at least most of the season.
Panthers' 2014 first round pick Kelvin Benjamin went down during Wednesday's practice. Benjamin was making a cut and planted his leg awkwardly, per Black & Blue Review.
Both teams gathered around Benjamin, as can be seen from the picture, and he showed no signs of flexing the leg. The injury was non-contact and Benjamin was eventually carted off the field, a combination that often points to an ACL injury.
