Saints rookies Marshon Lattimore and Alvin Kamara have been nominated by the NFL for Pepsi Rookie of the Week. Also nominated are JuJu Smith-Schuster (Steelers wide receiver), Derrick Barnett (Eagles defensive end), and Deshaun Watson (Texans quarterback).
Both Kamara and Lattimore had outstanding performances Sunday afternoon against the Bears. Lattimore continues his dominance and remains having the lowest QBR when targeted in coverage. Quarterbacks have a QBR of 28.8 when throwing to a receiver covered by Lattimore. He ended up with three tackles and a game-clinching interception of fellow rookie Mitchell Trubisky in Sunday’s win over Chicago.
Kamara has also been a huge asset for the Saints.
