Initial reports about the New Orleans Saints' 2017 draft class this offseason portray a positive outlook. Of course, we know it's far too early to judge anything about rookies just yet.
But cornerback Marshon Lattimore, tackle Ryan Ramczyk, running back Alvin Kamara and linebacker Alex Anzalone are getting plenty of reps with the starters. Kamara is also primed to play an integral role on special teams in the return game.
Things also appear to be looking up for the selections from the Saints' 2016 draft class.
Wide receiver Michael Thomas will be Drew Brees' primary option this season, defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins will be relied upon as a major playmaker and safety Vonn Bell enters his second season as the starter alongside Kenny Vaccaro.
