Saints owner Tom Benson's former personal assistant must take his discrimination and backpay complaints to arbitration with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, a federal judge ruled Wednesday (May 18).
Rodney Henry, who worked at Benson's side for 25 years until last June, filed a federal lawsuit against the Saints and owners Tom and Gayle Benson, claiming racial discrimination, harassment and backpay for long hours on the job.
The Saints have insisted that Henry's allegations must be sent to binding arbitration with the National Football League under an agreement Henry signed in 2010.
