There were some big surprises from Saints camp on Saturday, Sep. 1, when the team trimmed down to its 53-man roster. One of the biggest was the team letting go of backup guard/center Josh LeRibeus.
On Monday, Sep. 3, LeRibeus was resigned and the Saints let go of backup running back/fullback Trey Edmunds. The move does bring up some questions and there are several scenarios that could be at play revolving around the moves.
On Sunday, Sep. 2, the Saints signed former Patriots running back Mike Gillislee.
