NEW ORLEANS -- Jabari Greer viewed the play where New Orleans Saints defensive backs Keenan Lewis and Jairus Byrd collided during a potential interception earlier this month as symbolic of what the secondary has been going through.
“It just seems as if they can’t catch a break, really,” said Greer, who pointed to that play, which instead turned into a 61-yard touchdown for the Tennessee Titans.
“Then you have that screen pass (a 78-yard TD by the Redskins' Matt Jones last week), where guys are expecting other people to make a play,” said Greer, a former Saints cornerback who now works as an analyst for the SEC Network.
