There were a couple of players that made big impressions. Let’s hope the New Orleans Saints scouts in attendance were paying attention.
Cade Johnson, WR, South Dakota State
One of the best parts of Senior Bowl Week is getting to watch small school prospects. Cade Johnson has been my personal favorite so far. Admittedly, he had some good plays Tuesday that I didn’t give the time of day. Wednesday, he made it impossible to stop watching. He put two guys on the ground with his moves, gave a stretch of field between him and his defender that was as large as a road trip from Shreveport to Metairie, and had a great one-handed over-the-shoulder grab.
