FOXBOROUGH, Mass.— The New Orleans Saints lost 34-22 to the New England Patriots in Thursday night but among the bright spots in the loss were several of the team's rookies.
Most notably was second-round pick Michael Thomas who caught four passes for 67 yards including a diving 28-yard reception of a passes from Garrett Grayson and a 25-yard reception where the former Ohio State standout managed to secure the ball while getting both feet inbounds. The catch was reviewed and the play was upheld.
The Saints other second round pick Vonn Bell admittedly had an up and down day.
