MOBILE, Ala. – Jeff Ireland said the working atmosphere is so strong heading into his third year in the New Orleans Saints’ front office that "'great' doesn’t even probably touch it."
It certainly doesn’t hurt that the Saints hit a home run in last year’s draft by landing breakout receiver Michael Thomas in the second round.
“Look, it goes to the effort that we put into this job,” said Ireland, who runs the college scouting department as the Saints’ assistant general manager.
