New Orleans Saints general manager Mickey Loomis called Greenbrier resort owner Jim Justice on Wednesday to clear the air after reports suggested the team was looking to abandon its plans to train in West Virginia this summer.
The Charleston Gazette-Mail interviewed Justice, the billionaire coal magnate who lured the Saints to the luxury resort as part of a larger plan to rejuvenate the historic property.
"Those reports are not true in any way, shape or form," Justice told the newspaper.
A report from FOX Sports early Wednesday suggested the team might bring its training camp back to Metairie after spending the last two seasons at the Greenbrier.
