NEW ORLEANS (AP) -- The disowned granddaughter of New Orleans Saints and Pelicans owner Tom Benson has concluded about eight hours of testimony in a trial aimed at establishing if her grandfather is competent to run his business empire.
Rita LeBlanc was ousted from ownership positions with the pro teams about five months ago, along with her brother and mother. The courtroom has been closed to the public and participants are under a gag order regarding the substance of the case. But LeBlanc's layer, Randall A. Smith, says his client was ''doing great'' during one of several breaks on Wednesday.
