CHARLOTTE, NC. -- The prevailing belief is that wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.'s explosive comments during an on-camera interview with ESPN -- when he questioned his Giants teammates' heart and Eli Manning's ability to throw the ball more than 20 yards -- would tear apart the locker room.
But Beckham insisted Sunday that the remarks united the Giants, who on Sunday fell to 1-4.
"I don't regret anything that I said," Beckham said after Sunday's 33-31 loss to the Carolina Panthers at Bank of American Stadium. "If it took that for us to come together as a team, like we did today, I can take that every single time.
