The New Orleans Saints are by no means in the market for a starting quarterback in free agency, even if the team does nothing to Drew Brees' contract this offseason. As for Brees' backup, free agency could be the route the Saints venture.
Both of the Saints' No. 2 passers from last season are free agents with the contracts of Luke McCown and Matt Flynn expiring in less than a week. Landing a veteran to back up Brees hasn't always been the route taken by the Saints.
