The New Orleans Saints couldn't overcome their mistakes and lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 26-19 on Sunday at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
The Saints had three turnovers - and two other fumbles that they managed to recover - 10 penalties, a missed field-goal attempt and a blocked extra point as they dropped to 0-2. It was Tampa's first victory of the season and ended a seven-game losing streak to the Saints. New Orleans will play at division rival Carolina next Sunday.
Saints quarterback Drew Brees was 24 of 37 for 255 yards with one touchdown and one interception but he was sacked four times and hit numerous others.
