Fourteen days after Hurricane Katrina, Joe Horn, Deuce McAllister and the New Orleans Saints were on the road opening the season against the Carolina Panthers.
Both Horn and McAllister joined NFL.com's Michael Silver to recall their stories about returning to New Orleans after the storm.
Horn told his story of returning to the Superdome after Katrina and how people were telling him that the Saints had to beat Carolina, that the fans "need" a win. Horn said his focus strictly turned to "destroying Carolina."
And although the Saints didn't destroy Carolina, they managed to squeak out a 23-20 victory.
