Another former member of the New Orleans Saints will be taking a prominent role on television this fall: two-time Pro Bowl safety Roman Harper is joining ESPN’s “SEC Nation” pregame show, filling the final chair on its four-seat panel with Tim Tebow, Laura Rutledge, and former Vanderbilt Commodores quarterback Jordan Rodgers. Harper and Rodgers will be replacing Paul Finebaum and Marcus Spears, per a Sports Business Journal report.
Harper starred for the Alabama Crimson Tide before the Saints selected him in the second round of the 2006 NFL Draft; he went on to win Super Bowl XLIV with the Saints and started in Super Bowl L with the Carolina Panthers, playing 11 years at the game’s highest level.
