Former New Orleans Saints running back Travaris Cadet has found himself back in the NFC: per a report from Jourdan Rodrigue of the Charlotte Observer, Cadet has agreed to sign with the Carolina Panthers. This comes after the Panthers waived C.J. Anderson, an exciting offseason free agent signing. Panthers general manager Marty Hurney offered a brief comment on Anderson’s release:
“When we signed C.J. in the spring he saw a bigger role than he has had, and honestly, at the time so did we. But Christian McCaffrey has taken so much of the offense and so much of the plays, we just made the decision that this was the best thing for all parties involved.
