The New Orleans Saints released fullback/running back Trey Edmunds on Monday to clear a roster space for veteran offensive lineman Josh LeRibeus. On Wednesday, the Times-Picayune’s Josh Katzenstein reported that Edmunds agreed to join the Pittsburgh Steelers’ practice squad:
Former Saints RB Trey Edmunds is signing with the Steelers practice squad, per source. He'll join his brother Terrell Edmunds in Pittsburgh.

This is just the latest proof of how deep the Saints’ roster runs. They’re carrying Alvin Kamara, Boston Scott, Mike Gillislee, and fullback Zach Line on the active roster with Jonathan Williams and Dwayne Washington on the practice squad.
