Quarterback Luke McCown spent the past few months without a job after the New Orleans Saints cut him to make room for Chase Daniel in March.
With training camps around the NFL beginning this week, a team finally picked up McCown, hoping to see what the veteran can offer in his 14th season.
The Dallas Cowboys agreed to a one-year deal with McCown on Friday, according to a tweet from his agent Mike McCartney.

McCown spent the past four years as the backup to Drew Brees in New Orleans, and now he'll join a Cowboys team led by second-year quarterback Dak Prescott.
