This is the second year in a row Morton Anderson was a HOF finalist and is not voted in. The Great Dane has been eligible for 4 years now.
It's doubly hard for kickers to make the hall of fame.The last true kicker was Jan Stenerud, inducted in 1991. Morton Anderson has been a finalist the past two years. It's unfortunate for Morton that he faces so many other worthy candidates. Anderson is the all-time leading scorer in the NFL. He was also the leading scorer for 2 different franchise. Our own New Orleans Saints as well as our most hated division rival, the Atlanta Falcons.
