The Cleveland Browns released Dwayne Bowe after one disappointing season with the team, leaving the former LSU receiver to again look for another job.
Bowe joined the Browns with a two-year deal worth $12.5 million last offseason, with $9 million guaranteed, and caught only five passes for 53 yards in seven games.
He was a healthy scratch in seven games and sat out another game with a hamstring injury, Cleveland.com reported.
Bowe played his first eight seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs picked him at No. 23 overall in 2007.
