Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt had himself a day the last time he played the New Orleans Saints, back in 2015. Watt shouted at the Saints offense while they huddled, “You guys might want to try somebody else at right tackle.” He had longtime right tackle Zach Strief on skates for much of their meeting, at times begging the Saints to send someone else out to try and slow him down.
And try they did. The Saints slid left tackle Terron Armstead over to double-team Watt with Strief in an overloaded set. Watt split the pair of them to take down Drew Brees again.
