FOXBOROUGH, MASS. -- The New Orleans Saints have moved their pre-season preparation to the Boston area.
Starting at 8:30 a.m., they will practice against the New England Patriots in full pads at Gillette Stadium.
The Saints and Patriots have talked about the importance of practicing against another team. Two weeks into camp, players are ready to hit someone other than their teammates, and coaches want to see how some players perform in a different setting.
Although practice Tuesday is in full pads, Wednesday's session will be in shells, and thus less intense, before the exhibition game on Thursday at 6:30 p.
