The New Orleans Saints and Los Angeles Chargers met for two days of joint practices before their preseason game, but one event held their focus more than anything else that happened on the field: the quarterbacks challenge. Because the Chargers hosted this year’s practice, they were given the nod to design the first gauntlet for passers to go up against.
Taking inspiration from the annual Orange County Fair, Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers and his squad (backups Tyrod Taylor, Cardale Jones, and Easton Stick) came up with a series of trick shots ranging from goalpost strikes to skeet-shooting and moving nets.
