The New Orleans Saints (10-4) haven’t forgotten about the salty taste of defeat left in their mouths from just a few weeks ago. The Atlanta Falcons (9-5) staved off a late threat by the black and gold to emerge a 20-17 victor. Of course, it was the Drew Brees pass intended for Josh Hill that sunk the Saints after being picked off by Deion Jones. However, many felt that the officiating was lacking - which is probably the nicest way possible to put it.
At any rate, the Saints overcame the loss to beat the New York Jets after getting some extended rest, while the Falcons survived a Buccaneers comeback.
