New Orleans Saints coaches and executives are attending the East-West Shrine Game to take a closer look at some of college football’s top prospects heading into the 2018 NFL Draft.
Most teams have a strong contingent of staff working the game to get one-on-one time with potential selections. The interviews conducted are often informal, but they can be a great indicator of who a team could be leaning towards.
Per WalterFootball.com, the Saints have met with a bevy of defensive and offensive players throughout the week in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Those said to have met with the team on Monday (01/15) include Syracuse S Jordan Martin, Penn WR Justin Watson, Bowling Green P Joseph Davidson, Michigan State C Brian Allen, Miami DE Chad Thomas, SMU DE Justin Lawler, Northwestern S Godwin Igwebuike, Texas DT Poona Ford and Indiana LB Tegray Scales.
