Eagles want payback after letting Saints backups run up the score

The Philadelphia Eagles are ready for their rematch with the New Orleans Saints, per Zack Rosenblatt of NJ.com. Burned by a 48-7 loss in which they felt New Orleans added insult to injury, the Eagles’ leaders are eager for a second go at it after that disaster in Week 11.

“We didn’t play well at all. They ran up the score. We wanted them again, we got them again,” claimed Eagles left tackle Jason Peters, “We’ll be ready this time.”

The Saints pulled their starters with 6:46 left in the game, and didn’t call a passing play after the 11:48 mark in the fourth quarter.
