NEW ORLEANS -- A look at the New Orleans Saints players who were “up” and those who were “down” in Monday’s 35-27 loss to the Detroit Lions:
UP:
QB Drew Brees: Too bad he got off to such a slow start when he was operating on two healthy feet, because Brees was in Hall of Fame form after he suffered a right foot injury in the second quarter. Brees finished with 341 yards, three TD passes and zero turnovers. All three TDs came in the second half.
