METAIRIE, La. -- Drew Brees is taking his second career as a restaurateur to another level:
Breakfast.
The New Orleans Saints quarterback announced plans Tuesday to join a partnership that will bring up to 69 Dunkin' Donuts stores to Louisiana -- starting with five in the New Orleans and Baton Rouge areas.
Brees already owns several Jimmy John's sandwich shop franchises throughout the state, and he and his wife Brittany recently became co-owners of several Walk-On's Bistreaux & Bar sports bars in the state.
"Drew has proven his commitment to New Orleans -- both on and off the field -- and we couldn’t ask for a better partner to help expand Dunkin' Donuts' presence in Louisiana," Vik Patel, the CEO at Bourbon Street Donuts, LLC, said in a statement.
