But just in case there was any doubt, he went out and threw for 505 yards and tied a NFL record with seven touchdown passes in a Week 8 win to lock it up. Brees is on pace for 5,181 yards, 34 touchdowns and 13 interceptions -- and that's after he missed one game with a shoulder injury.
