Drew Brees has had a remarkable career as one of the greatest quarterbacks in the history of the NFL. Brees won Super Bowl XLIV MVP while leading the Saints to their first championship. Entering his 18th season, he’s third all-time with 70,445 passing yards, only 1,495 behind Peyton Manning.
Coming out of college at Purdue in 2001, Brees was not seen as a surefire success and was ultimately taken No. 32 overall in the draft. Much of the criticism toward Brees centered on his small stature of roughly 6 feet tall and 205 pounds.
Brees recently spoke with the “Bull & Fox” show on 92.
