Dez Bryant was signed by the Saints in early November of last year to a one year $1.25 million contract, the Saints needing help with the loss of Ted Ginn to injury. Two days after being signed, he tore his Achilles tendon in practice and was lost for the year. According to reports, his recovery is complete and he’ll be ready to join a team.
Bleacher Report, in a piece by Joseph Zucker, is listing the New Orleans Saints, Green Bay Packers, Carolina Panthers and Baltimore Ravens as possible contenders for his services. If nothing changes in the dynamics of the Saints receiving corps prior to Bryan’s return, they could look to make use of the ten-year veteran.
