Former New Orleans Saints running back Deuce McAllister said in a tweet Monday he will fill in as a color analyst in place of Hokie Gajan, who is battling cancer, for the rest of the season.
The 56-year-old Gajan, a former LSU and Saints player, made his cancer diagnosis public in November.
McAlister wil join play-by-play announcer Jim Henderson in the WWL radio booth for the Saints’ final four regular season games. McAllister played for the Saints from 2001-08.
