The New Orleans Saints wrapped up their annual practice at Tulane University’s Yulman Stadium on Sunday night, and the session was full of highlights. One play that stood out was a dynamic tip-drill interception involving two guys in their second years with the black and gold: cornerback Eli Apple and linebacker Demario Davis.
Apple broke on a pass at just the right moment, jabbing his hand at the catch point to tip the ball sky-high. That gave Davis time to circle back, track the ball, and snatch it away from his opponents before racing downfield on the return.
