WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.VA. — New Orleans Saints running back Daniel Lasco had one of the most impressive plays of training camp thus far on Thursday, but the rookie didn't want to brag much.
When Lasco lowered his helmet and ran through rookie safety Vonn Bell, most of the people watching at The Greenbrier gasped. Bell, though, grabbed Lasco by the foot and somehow made the tackle to save a touchdown.
"Vonn tackled me," Lasco said. "I'm going to count that as a win for the defense. He tackled me in the open field; I got to get better.
