In his August 5 edition of Monday Morning Quarterback for Sports Illustrated, columnist Albert Breer suggests that he has picked up talk from several sources that the Saints and Patriots may be in the sellers’ market for cornerbacks soon. Meaning that both teams have a surplus at the position and may be willing to let some go for the right price.
Breer’s article doesn’t mention any names but a piece put out by ProFootballRumors.com suggests that anyone other than Marshon Lattimore, Eli Apple and Patrick Robinson might be in play.
