This article is for the stat hounds and is for entertainment purposes only. It’s hard not to get lost in the myriad lumps of stats that get tossed around in professional sports. But the term “on any given Sunday” is out there for good reason. And it applies as much to the 2017 Saints as to any team.
Odds and stats really don’t mean anything come game day. It’s what happens on the field that counts. On any given Sunday, the Browns could beat the Patriots. Not to take it to too far an extreme, but big upsets do happen.
