C.J. Spiller's NFL career hasn't gone quite how many people expected.
Coming out of Clemson in 2010, Spiller was an electrifying playmaker whose ability to change a game as a runner, receiver and returner convinced the Buffalo Bills to take him ninth overall in the first round.
Spiller has had some impressive peaks. He averaged 6 yards per carry and 10.7 yards per reception in 2012, numbers that culminated in 1,244 rushing yards and 459 receiving yards.
But fumbles — 18 in his career — and injuries have been a bugaboo at times, which is part of the reason he's now with the New Orleans Saints.
