The New Orleans Saints upset the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday afternoon, leaving the CenturyLink Field visitor’s locker room with a big-time win. But before they opened the locker room to the media and prepared to fly home, Saints players, coaches, and staff took some time to celebrate — and they did so with their go-to song and New Orleans classic, “Choppa Style.”
“Choppa Style” was the song of the year for the Saints last season, featuring heavily in postgame locker room dance-offs and the in-game track list at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. It became something of a renaissance tune, appearing everywhere from New Orleans’area food festivals to Drew Brees’ birthday party almost 20 years after its release.
