Cameron Jordan ties for third-place among all-time Saints sack leaders

The New Orleans Saints had themselves a day against the Jacksonville Jaguars, but defensive end Cameron Jordan may have set the pace for the rest of his teammates. Matched up against rookie right tackle Jawaan Taylor, Jordan went on to sack Jaguars quarterback Gardner Minshew twice and hit him several other times.

That production ended up giving Jordan five sacks on the year so far and raised his career total to 76.5 — good enough to tie the great Pat Swilling, a “Dome Patrol” legend, for third place in the Saints’ all-time record books. Jordan’s climb up the annals of Saints team history continues, having passed up the late, great Will Smith (who was inducted into the Saints Ring of Honor last week) during the 2018 season.
