The Saints will report to training camp in late July, feeling sky high on the heels of their turnaround 2017 season. Training camp is often a grind for players, lining up against their teammates day after day can get pretty monotonous. To add a wrinkle, Sean Payton and New Orleans have sought out the help of an AFC team. The Saints have agreed to hold joint practices with the Los Angeles Chargers. The two teams will practice against each other in advance of their August 25 preseason game. The practices will take place at the Chargers practice facility for the two days prior to the game.
