The New Orleans Saints won a lot of games off the play of two great young cornerbacks last year: Marshon Lattimore and Ken Crawley. Lattimore won Defensive Rookie of the Year honors, and Crawley won praise from observers around the NFL. But it wasn’t all roses for Crawley. He looked thoroughly outmatched against Tampa Bay Buccaneers rookie Chris Godwin in the regular season finale. Per the game’s Pro Football Focus recap:
Matched up against the formidable Ken Crawley for much of the day, Godwin had a breakout game, with the exclamation point being the game-winning touchdown bomb with nine seconds left in the game.
