The New Orleans Saints managed to offer up another opening game dud for the 5th year in a row under head coach Sean Payton.
Per status quo, the defense was much maligned, and if only for this game seemed to warrant that ESPN Football Power Index’s second worst defensive unit ranking it garnered earlier this offseason. Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Buccaneers offense attacked every level with success, and Deuce and Ellias try to sift through the fixable and non-fixable issues that cropped up on Sunday.
