I said to keep an eye on Brodrick Bunkley at training camp, because he could be on the roster bubble. Well, he didn’t even make it to camp — the New Orleans Saints announced they released the nose tackle with a failed physical designation.
The New Orleans Saints also said they placed safety Jairus Byrd, wide receiver Marques Colston and defensive end Glenn Foster on the physically unable to perform list (PUP). Cornerback Brian Dixon has been slotted onto the non-football injury list.
This is not ideal news for Saints fans. Excitement was building after the Saints touched down in West Virginia Tuesday afternoon for training camp.
