The New Orleans Saints are signing former Miami Dolphins punter Brandon Fields as a temporary replacement for ailing Thomas Morstead, according to Fields' agent, Ian Greengross.

Zac Jackson of Pro Football Talk reported Fields was one of four punters who tried out on Tuesday in light of the Saints' immediate need at the position.
