Josh Norman made headlines when he was penalized and then fined $10,000 for simulating shooting an arrow. The punishment was puzzling considering it’s not the first time Norman has performed that celebration, and that the Redskins cornerback isn’t the only one doing it.
Most notably, Saints receiver Brandin Cooks shoots an arrow pretty much any time he makes a big play. Cooks is a great player, but he’s not quite the star that Norman has become, leading some to think there’s a target on certain players.
Cooks will be putting that theory to the test, as he plans on continuing to shoot imaginary arrows.
