The Buffalo Bills announced today that they have signed former New Orleans Saints safety Kurt Coleman following the retirement of safety Rafael Bush. Bush also played for the Saints from 2012 to 2017, taking a one-year stop with the Detroit Lions in 2016. So the Bills are effectively swapping one former Saints safety for another.
Coleman only logged 359 snaps in his one year in New Orleans and was sidelined in the playoffs after some ugly moments in the regular season. He recorded just 32 tackles (22 solo) and one forced fumble before being released early this year.
